Banda de Música de la Universidad de Agricultura de Letonia

     Raitis Asmanis was born in 1964 and began his musical studies in the Lithuania music conservatory. He finished his studies in 1990 after achieving the title of orchestral director. Since 1988, he has been director of the Riga Circus Big Band. He has been teaching since 1990 and now teaches directing. He also directs the band of the Jelgava music school and was appointed director of the Lithuanian Music Festival in 1999.
