Jesús Perelló Fuster

    Jesus Perello Fuster, nace en Buñol (Valencia).

    Jesus Perello Fuster was born in Buñol, near Valencia, and studied the oboe under Martí and F. Salanova; as well as counterpoint, fuega, harmony and orchestra directing. After being admitted to the Rotterdam conservatory in Holland, he studied directing under Arix Van Beek, Jean Koops, Jean Cober, Cervera Collado and Heinz Friessen.

    He finished his directing studies under García Asensio.

    He has led: the youth orchestra of La Artística de Buñol in the Valencia youth orchestra contest; the Unión Musical Alacuasense (winning first prize in a 1988 Spanish television competition); la Artística de Buñol; the Rotterdam conservatory orchestra; the national Dutch youth band; the Dutch Berlicum band; the Cullera Ateneo Musical; the Banda Municipal de Alicante; and the Banda Municipal de Madrid.

    He is a member of the soloist group, Mare Nostrum, and has toured: Paris, New York, Havana, Madrid, Barcelona, and Bilbao. He was commissioned by the province of Valencia to record a CD of Valencian music in 1990.

    He has been English horn soloist in the Valencia municipal band since 1976.
