Diego Niñerola Esteve

Sociedad Musical de Banyeres de Mariola (Alicante)

    Diego Ñinerola Esteve was born in 1974 in Lliria, Valencia. He began his studies at the music school of the Primitiva de Lliria where he qualified as a teacher of tuba and euphonium.

    He studied harmony and melody under José Manuel Aparici, and won the 1993 harmony prize of the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia. Between 1995 and 1998 he studied counterpoint and fugue.

    During 1997 he studied orchestral directing under Manuel Galduf, from 1999 he studied composition under the composer Ferrán Ferrer. He finished his studies with courses in musical forms and composition. He now combines teaching with the directing of musical groups and choirs, as well as orchestration and transcription.

    He taught music at the Sociedad San Juan Bautista de Loriguilla in Valencia between 1990 and 1996 and now teaches at the Colegio Francisco López Latorre in Llíria. In 1998, he also became a teacher at the school of the Banda Primitiva in Lliria.

    Between 1997 and 1998 he led the Agrupación Musical Vicente Giménez in Lliria, and in 1999 became director of the youth orchestra of the school of the Banda Primitiva. In the same year, he was nominated director of the choir of the Asociación Musical of Quartell in Valencia. He is also currently director of the choir of the music school of the Banda Primitiva de Lliria.
