Alabama Dixieland Jazz Band

HISTORY OF THE BAND

Alabama Dixieland Jazz Band specializes in gospel, ragtime, dixieland and hot jazz. These styles originated in the South of the USA and were developed by musicians such as Louis Armstrong and Scott Joplin.

The Band is made up of seven professional musicians, with academic training, who excel in the following instruments: clarinet, trumpet, tenor sax, trombone, tuba, banjo and drums.

The sound is lively, rhythmic, colorful and carefree. Those who attend concerts of this type of music find the rhythm contagious and identify body and soul with the hot beats of the Deep South in just a few minutes.

These genres of music are appropriate for events which need to create and maintain the enthusiasm of the audience, whatever the age or background of its members. Joy overflows and the sounds of the instruments wake the audience's feelings.

The Band's repertoire is very extensive and can adapt to any program.
