Asociación Banda de Música del Municipio de Arbo (Pontevedra)

    Víctor Fernández Nogueiras was born in Candeán, near Vigo, in 1971. He studied music at the ‘Unión Musical de Valladares’ and the Conservatorio Superior de Música of Vigo and Puenteareas.

    He has played the clarinet from the age of 10 and was soloist in the Valladares band. He studied clarinet under Juan Lluna and Waller Boeykens.

    He is also director of the following choirs: the ‘Coral Polifónica de Arbo’, the ‘Coral Xuntanza de Covelo’ and the ‘Coral Polifónica de Mondariz’.

    He has been teaching clarinet in the band school since 1993.
