Sociedad Musical "La Familiar" de Benisanó (Valencia)

    He was born in Benissano in 1966 and learnt to play in the band’s own school before finishing his trombone studies in the conservatories of Alicante and Valencia. He obtained an advanced grade in 1992.

    He has been qualified to teach music at secondary school level since 1994. He has taught trombone at the conservatories of Vall d'Uixó, Torrent, Cullera, Carcaixent and Requena. His own studies have been widened with courses on harmony under Jeff Penders, and trombone under the ONE’s Enrique Ferrando. He has also studied computer-generated music, composition and music teaching theory.

    In 1987 he helped found the ‘Jaz Band’ of Valencia and made a recording with the OMV.

    As well as being director of the Sociedad Musical ‘La Familiar’ de Benisano since September 2000, he is also director of the band of the Benisano music academy – which he formed in 1995.
